Workshops
for
Women
Body
Republic
is
committed to provide women with a variety of venues to
voice the experiences of their body. Our Workshops for Women provide
women the opportunity to write and talk about the experiences of their
bodies. The Workshop Facilitator guides women to give voice to their
body through a variety of interactive activities and discussion in a
workshop forum. Women's Workshops are both general and specific with a
focus on both the sorrow and joy filled moments. Workshops focus on all
aspects of a woman's body experiences including eating disorders,
breast cancer, developmental disabilities, domestic violence, rape,
war/combat, gender, and cultural/ethnic societal standards.
Heterosexual, Lesbian, Bi-sexual and Transgender body experiences are
explored.

Little Stars
Program
Body
Republic is
so excited about the development of our Little Stars Program offered to
girls age 8-12. We all know children are our greatest resource and what
could be more important than protecting the self-esteem and body image
of our daughters? Body Republic’s unique approach to teaching girls
body positive principles reaches beyond merely building her
self-esteem. We provide girls with a backpack full of skills that will
enable her to employ body positive principles with herself, family and
friends as she grows. Simply put, our Little Stars Program imparts five
body positive strategies. Developing curiosity about herself and the
world around her, reaching out to others when help is needed, knowing
she’s empowered to make change, utilizing mechanisms for self-care, and
sharing her experiences form the foundation of our Little Stars
Workshop. We need your support to bring our Little Stars Program to

to give voice to her story. Body Republic Women are courageous,
encouraging, strong, determined, nurturing, inspiring, dynamic leaders
who make a difference in the world one moment at a time. She may
be, your mom, daughter, sister, friend, co-worker, boss, or neighbor.
Perhaps you know a group of women who if assembled together would
change the world. She may be a woman who overcame great adversity -
breast cancer, war, poverty or domestic violence. Celebrate her
